Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and [Entity name] ("Seedcite", "we") for use of seedcite.com and the Seedcite service. By creating an account you accept them.

1. The service

Seedcite plans, drafts and publishes web content, and tracks whether AI answer engines cite your site. Seedcite is currently in private beta. Features, limits and prices can change before general availability, and beta access can be ended with notice.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Keep your login secure and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think it was misused. You are responsible for activity under your account, including connections you make to your CMS.

3. AI-generated content and your approval

Seedcite uses AI models to draft content. AI output can be wrong, out of date or similar to other text. Nothing publishes to your site unless you approve it in the approval queue or you turn on a publishing setting yourself.

• You are responsible for reviewing and approving everything published under your name or brand, including facts, claims, links and legal compliance.
• We do not promise any ranking, traffic, citation or revenue result. The only exception is the refund offered under the 90-day results guarantee, which is a refund, not a promise of results.
• You own the content produced for you, subject to the rights of third parties and the terms of the AI providers we use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Seedcite to:

• produce spam, or scaled content abuse, meaning many low-value pages made mainly to manipulate search rankings or AI answers;
• publish false, misleading, defamatory, infringing or illegal content, or fake reviews or testimonials;
• hide content from users while showing it to crawlers, or otherwise break the spam policies of search engines;
• attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or resell it without our written consent;
• upload personal data you have no right to process.

We may pause or remove content or accounts that break these rules.

5. Plans, trial and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. New accounts get a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and your payment method is charged. Plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. Every plan includes unlimited articles under a fair-use policy of about 300 articles a month per site. Plans differ in sites (1, 3 or 10), tracked AI questions (10, 50 or 150), generated images per article (1, 2 or 3) and quality tier: Starter articles come from our fast model, and Growth and Scale add an extra edit pass with a stronger model. We may limit use that goes beyond fair use after contacting you, and you can move to a higher plan. Prices shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe apply to your plan, and we will give notice before any price change takes effect.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your billing page in one click. There are no retention screens and no calls. Cancellation stops future charges, and your access continues to the end of the period you paid for.

After your 7-day free trial, you can request a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of it being charged. There are no conditions about article counts or traffic.

90-day results guarantee. In addition, if your clicks from Google Search do not go up over your first 90 days and you meet the conditions, you can claim a refund of the subscription fees you paid for those 90 days. The two refunds do not stack: if you take the 14-day refund, your subscription ends and the results guarantee ends with it, and no payment is refunded twice.

We do not otherwise refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.

7. Your data

You keep your rights to the content and site data you give us. You give us permission to process it to run the service. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and the companies that help us run the service are listed on the subprocessors page.

8. Our software and name

Seedcite, its software and its branding belong to us. You get a limited, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active.

9. No warranties

The service is provided as is during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation. The 90-day results guarantee is a refund promise and is not a warranty of rankings, traffic or citations.

10. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit or lost traffic. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Seedcite at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put the service or others at risk. On ending, we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing jurisdiction]. We may update these terms, and will tell you by email or in the app before material changes take effect. Questions: [email protected].
