More visitors from search in 90 days, or your money back.

The 90-day results guarantee, in full. It says what we measure, what you need to do, how to claim and what we refund. The guarantee is a refund, not a promise about rankings.

Draft for lawyer review before launch. This is a plain-English working draft, not final legal text. Highlighted brackets are values the founder still has to confirm.

1. What we promise

If you meet the conditions in section 4 and your clicks from Google Search in the result period are not higher than in the baseline period, we refund the subscription fees you paid for your first 90 days. "Higher" means [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: threshold for "more", for example any increase of at least 1 click, or at least 10% more clicks than the baseline].

We make this promise because publishing helpful, well-structured pages on a site that search engines can read usually brings more search visits. We cannot control Google, so we put our fees behind it instead.

2. What we measure

We count total clicks in the Google Search Console Performance report for your site, with search type set to Web [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: Web only, or Web, Image, Video and News combined]. That is organic search traffic from Google to every page of your site, not only to Seedcite articles. Paid ads, social, email and other search engines are not counted.

We use the Search Console property you connect at the start. It should cover your whole site: a domain property, or a URL-prefix property for the exact address your site uses. If the property does not cover the pages Seedcite publishes, tell us before your first article goes live so we can fix it together.

Search Console reports days in Pacific Time and its numbers can be revised for a few days, so we read the figures after the result period has fully settled.

3. The two periods we compare

Day 1 is the day your first Seedcite article is published on your site.

  1. BaselineThe 28 days before Day 1
  2. Day 1First Seedcite article goes live
  3. Result periodDay 63 to Day 90, the last 28 days of the first 90
  4. Claim windowDay 91 to Day 104

Both periods are 28 days long and contain the same mix of weekdays, so a busy Monday or a quiet Sunday counts the same on both sides.

4. Who is eligible

The guarantee applies to your first paid subscription to Seedcite, for one site, when all of these are true:

  1. Search Console stays connected. You connect the Search Console property for the site before Day 1 and keep it connected through Day 90. Gaps of up to [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: 7 days in total] are fine, because Search Console keeps the history.
  2. You publish the agreed volume. You approve and publish at least the plan's fair-use weekly cadence of Seedcite articles ([FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: articles per week required for eligibility]), up to a fair-use ceiling of about 300 articles a month per site, by Day [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: 60]. You approve, edit or reject each draft within [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: 7 days] of it reaching your approval queue. If you reject a draft, we write a replacement; only published articles count.
  3. Your plan stays active. You stay on a paid plan from Day 1 through Day 90 and your payments go through. Moving to a higher plan keeps the guarantee. Moving to a lower plan uses the lower plan's weekly cadence.
  4. Search engines can reach your site. You do not block Googlebot in robots.txt, add noindex to the site or to Seedcite articles, put the site behind a login, or take it offline for more than [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: 3 days in total] during the 90 days.
  5. Published articles stay up. You do not delete, unpublish, redirect or substantially rewrite Seedcite articles during the 90 days. Fixing a typo or a fact is fine.
  6. The site was live and indexable at the start. On Day 1 your home page returns a normal page, at least one page of the site is indexed by Google, and the site is not under a Google manual action.
  7. No manual action caused by your own changes. Google does not apply a manual action to the site during the 90 days because of something you or someone working for you did outside Seedcite, such as buying links or publishing spam.

5. How to claim

  1. Email [email protected] from the address on your account between Day 91 and Day 104, which is within 14 days after Day 90. Put "Results guarantee claim" in the subject and name the site.
  2. We pull the clicks for both periods from your connected Search Console and check the conditions in section 4. We send you the figures and the dates we used.
  3. We reply in writing within [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: 10 business days]. If the claim qualifies, we refund to your original payment method within [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: 10 business days] of our reply.

If you disagree with our reading of the numbers, reply with your own Search Console export and we will look again together.

6. What we refund

All subscription fees you paid for service from Day 1 to Day 90. On a monthly plan that is normally your first three monthly payments [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: three payments, or fees for Day 1 to Day 90 only, pro rata]. On an annual plan it is [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: 90/365 of the annual fee].

After a refund, your subscription ends [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: or continues if you ask it to]. Articles already published stay on your site and stay yours.

7. How this fits with the trial and the 14-day refund

  • 7-day free trial. You pay nothing during the trial, so there is nothing to refund for those days. Day 1 is often inside the trial, because first articles usually go live in the first week.
  • 14-day money-back refund. Unchanged. After the trial you can ask for a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of it being charged, with no conditions. If you take it, your subscription ends, so you cannot also claim the results guarantee.
  • 90-day results guarantee. An extra promise on top of the 14-day refund. It covers more payments but has the conditions on this page.
  • No double refunds. A payment is only ever refunded once.

8. Exclusions and edge cases

Very low or zero baseline

If your site had fewer than [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: minimum baseline clicks, for example 50 clicks in the baseline period], a comparison is mostly noise. For these sites [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: either the guarantee does not apply, or we use a fixed target instead, for example at least 100 clicks in the result period]. We will tell you which rule applies to your site before Day 1.

Site moves and big changes

A change of domain, a move to a new platform that changes your URLs, or removing a large part of your site during the 90 days ends the guarantee, unless we agreed the change in writing first, because the before and after numbers no longer describe the same site.

Several sites on one plan

The guarantee covers one site, which you name before Day 1 [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: one named site, or all sites on the plan combined].

Missing or wrong data

If Google confirms a Search Console reporting problem on days inside either period, we leave those days out of both periods and compare daily averages instead of totals.

Disputed payments and misuse

Payments you have disputed with your bank are not refunded again under the guarantee. We may refuse a claim if the account was set up or run to trigger the guarantee, for example by holding traffic down on purpose. One guarantee per customer and per site.

9. Seasons and outside events

We compare raw totals. We do not adjust for seasons, holidays, news, your own advertising or Google updates. That can work for you or against you: if the result period falls in a busier time of year than the baseline, clicks may rise for reasons that have nothing to do with Seedcite; if it falls in a quieter time, they may fall even when our articles are working. If your business is strongly seasonal, tell us before Day 1 [FOUNDER TO CONFIRM: whether we offer a year-over-year comparison for sites with 13 months of Search Console data].

10. What this guarantee is not

  • It is not a promise of rankings, positions, AI citations, leads or sales. Google and the answer engines decide what to show. The guarantee is the refund.
  • It does not cover traffic from other search engines, AI assistants, ads or social.
  • It does not change the limits on liability in our terms.

11. Changes and your other rights

The version of this page in force on the day you start your first paid subscription is the one that applies to you. We will not change it for you after that. This guarantee forms part of our terms of service and does not reduce any rights you have under consumer law.
