Find out whether AI answers cite you.

Customers now ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, and read Google's AI answers, before they click a result. Seedcite asks the same questions for you, on a schedule, and records what each answer says and which pages it cites.

How it works

  1. You choose the questions.Seedcite suggests them from your site, and you add your own. Starter tracks 10, Growth 50, Scale 150.
  2. Seedcite asks each engine, more than once.AI answers change from run to run, so a single answer proves little. Each question is asked repeatedly and the results are kept together.
  3. Every answer is read for citations. We record whether your domain is cited, which of your pages, and which other sites the engine cited instead.
  4. You get a weekly report. It shows your cited share per question and engine over time, and which new articles are worth building to close the gaps.
Sample citation grid For one tracked question, three AI engines are asked four times each. Filled circles with a tick mark runs where the answer cited your page. Chat G P T cited you in 1 of 4 runs, Perplexity in 2 of 4, Gemini in 1 of 4. "Which accountant should I use for a small LLC?" Answer engines we measure

These are the engines your customers ask, and the ones Seedcite checks for citations of your pages. We list an engine as measured only once the check is built and running.

In the first version

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • Perplexity
  • Google AI Overviews
  • Google AI Mode

Names and logos belong to their owners. Seedcite is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Logos are shown only to identify the engines we measure. These are the engines we check for your citations; they are separate from the AI we use to draft your articles.

What it will not do

  • It will not guarantee a citation. Engines decide what to cite. We measure and we write helpful pages, but we cannot make an engine quote you.

  • It will not report one lucky answer as a trend. We show the share of runs that cited you, so one good or bad answer does not mislead you.

  • It will not read anyone's private chats. We only see answers to questions we ask ourselves. We cannot see what your customers ask or what they were told.

  • It will not claim AI traffic it cannot see. Most AI engines do not pass a clear referrer, so we do not invent a visitor count from citations.

Why repeat the question?

Ask the same question to the same engine twice and you can get two different answers with different sources. Tracking that treats one answer as the truth would swing wildly week to week. Seedcite repeats each question and reports a share, so the number you see is steady enough to act on.

The citations also feed the writing side. A question where competitors are cited and you are not becomes a candidate for a new article, which then waits in your approval queue like every other draft.
